  • Green Curtain グリーンカーテンを設置しました

    I know it’s a little too late but I have some fruit tree 🌲 set in the balcony of my study in Tokyo.

    時期的にやや遅いかもしれませんが、書斎のバルコニーにグリーンカーテンを設置していただきました。

    This will cover the eyeliners from taller buildings outside, shut the hot summer air out, and give nice feelings of the nature in my study.

    これで遠くの背の高いマンションの視線を遮り、暑さを遠ざけ、書斎に自然界のエネルギーが満ちてくれることでしょう。

    Keep natural green surroundings with you is very important for any human being.

    生きた緑に囲まれているって、人間にはとても大事なこと。

    It’ll give you positive energy for your presence.

    緑があると、あなたの存在そのものに良いエネルギーが生まれます。

  • Greenize 緑化計画中

    It becomes hot in Tokyo.

    暑くなってきましたね〜！

    The word “greenize” is my invention.
    I am planning to make a summer green curtain in the balcony of my study in Tokyo.
    For, the room can be seen from nearby neighbours and far-away tower-apartment-blocks.
    The green will keep my privacy well and healthy.

    「グリーナイズ」なんて英語、勝手に作っちゃいました。
    東京都心にある書斎のバルコニーにグリーンカーテンを作ろうと思うのです。
    近くのマンションや遠くのタワーマンションから覗けちゃうのが気になって。
    グリーンカーテンなら、健康的な目隠しになるでしょう。

     

     

  • Redesign the Room 模様替え決行中

    On the Midsummer’s day, I suddenly have started to redesign the rooms.
    夏至の日を境に、暮らしを見直そうと、お部屋の模様替えを始めました。

    Say good bye to the goods of memories, and keep favorite things only.
    ものへの執着をやめ、本当に好きなもの・必要なものだけを残していきます。

    Then you can finally live your own life.
    そして初めて、自分の人生を生きることができる気がします。

    Don’t you keep things you don’t really love, only because they might be useful someday?
    もったいないから、という理由で、本当はすごく好きでもないものを身の回りに置いてはいませんか？

    Look around your room as if it is not your room.
    自分の部屋を、誰か別の人の部屋だと思って眺めてみましょう。

    You will find many unnecessary things.
    要らないものがはっきり見えてきますよ。

  • Rehearsing Cinderella シンデレラのリハーサル

    The rehearsal for the newly written musical Cinderella is going on.  It is produced by the regional theatre complex in Kofu, Yamanashi prefecture of Japan.

    山梨県立文化ホールか主催するオリジナルミュージカル『シンデレラ』のリハーサルが進行しています。

    The photo is of at a break of a day.  I Elica directs the piece and cannot take a photo during the rehearsal work.

    写真は休憩時間。だって私は演出してるから、休憩時間しかお写真が撮れないのですもの。

    On the right edge of the photo you see a little girl on a giant man’s laps.  Yes, the cast members age range is wide.  They are in good terms.

    写真右端の大きなおじさんの膝に乗るのは小学生。そう、年齢層がとても幅広い、そしてみんな仲の良い、素敵なカンパニーです。

  • Your Life is Yours 君の人生は君が選ぶ

    Did you have a nice Midsummer night?

    I was working so hard to reorganise my living condition.

    This is the tenth year  since my beloved mother passed away.

    All these years, I could not possibly get rid of her belongings.

    i was wearing her clothes and her bags which were not exactly my taste.

    But then, finally this Midsummer, something makes me feel like everything would be OK if I follow my own likings.

    i don’t have to live her life.

    I don’t need to live for her, mourning in the feeling of apology.

    The first thing I did in the Midsummer was to get rid of her bed, along with my bed.

    Now I am sleeping on a Futon!
