One Fool’s Head

Internet search engine system doesn’t like offensive words.

Shakespeare may not suitable on internet, for his works have so many immoral, politically incorrect words.

Today, again, we talk about fools.

Prince of Arragon from The Merchant of Venice, has chosen the silver casket, by saying a nice phrase.

As he opens the box, what he has found is a painting of a Fool.

A Fool here means a Fool working for a court to entertain Kings and Queens by foolish attitudes.

A Fool wears patchworked foolishly colourful costume, foolishly pink round cheeks, with smiling lips and weeping eyes.

Arragon immediately realizes it is a Fool, not Portia.

As he leaves the stage, again he says something quite smart.

“With one fool’s head I came to woo,

But I go away with two.”
