The scientific name is Mr “oriental blongheaded locust”.

ショウリョウバッタ君。

ELICA is a nature lover, and big fan of insects.
I am so glad to meet him, which means we still have nice and healthy nature-surrounding in Tokyo metropolitan area.

私、実は、自然界のもの大好きで、
当然、虫も大好きで。
小学生の頃から、愛読書は昆虫の図鑑。

先日、とっても久しぶりにこのかたのお姿拝見。

Nature is important for our lives.
Everybody feels great surrounded by nature.
Even a small plant in the house will soothe your mind.

Let’s be friends with nature.

That exactly be equal to be friends with yourself.

自然が残っているっていいなあ。

もっと自然を残したい。

自然を大事にしましょう。
それは自分を大事にすることだから。

Sometimes people misunderstand “love yourself” and “being selfish”.

大事にする、

と

自分勝手

を混同してしまっているのが
残念ながら、今の風潮。

Selfishness is very lonely thing.
The reason why selfish people are aggressive is they are want of love.

If you want love, selfishness is the farthest route.

自分勝手って、実はとても寂しいもの。

多くの自分勝手さんが、攻撃的なのも、受け取る愛が足りないからではないかと思います。

受け取る愛を増やすには、自分勝手ではダメ。

To love yourself is as if to nurture and love like the best ideal parents.

自分を大事にする、というのは、まるで最高の親のように自分を育てることだと思うのです。

つまり、厳しく律することも必要、自然の中でのびのびさせてあげるのも必要、美味しい食事をあげるのも必要、勉強する機会を与えるのも必要・・・

ですよね？
