Skipping Spirit

Typhoon is coming near to TOKYO.

I hope you are fine, alive and kicking.

A happy person makes us happy.

But too happy person sometimes are annoying.

Bassanio of ThenMerchant of Venice says to his friend Gratiano to be alitle more modest.

“…But hear thee, Gratiano:

Thou art too wild, too rude, and bold of voice—

Parts that become thee happily enough,

And in such eyes as ours appear not faults,

But where thou art not known, why, there they show

Something too liberal. Pray thee take pain

To allay with some cold drops of modesty

Thy skipping spirit”

I love this text.

We can see exactly what kind of relationship they have.

It’s so loving and friendly… brotherhood, rather.
